Job Description

This is an exciting role within the Starcom Samsung Strategy team..

You must be a confident planner and able to work across all media channels as  you will have a large role in managing the planning and execution of Digital, TV, OOH and Print activity. As Associate Director you will own the day to day client relationship, get to know all there is to know about the client's business and make sure the team deliver on their promises. You’ll be comfortable challenging the client, defending the work and proposing new and innovative solutions to briefs.

You will work in a tight knit team where you will manage two AMs and report into the Business Director.  

 Key Responsibilities:

  • A deep and thorough knowledge of media landscape covering all  media channels.
  • Responsibility for leading strategic development and implementation across all paid owned, and earned channels, including a forensic knowledge of and enthusiasm for digital. 
  • Developing strong relationships with all senior clients, ensuring you understand and shape their business and communications objectives
  • Developing strong relationships with all Starcom department heads to deliver integrated, insight-driven strategies for our clients
  • Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.  Ability to handle data and information and get to the right answer fast
  • Working with media owners, creative agencies and other partners to deliver inspiring launch ideas and award winning work
  • Highly organised individual – we have a large portfolio of brands to manage and there are often multiple campaigns live at the same time as well as managing any requests from the Global team.   Strong project management skills are needed to ensure that work is delivered accurately and on time.

  • Including the capacity to successfully manage multiple work streams at one time
  • Strong foundation in strategic and critical thinking, with an eye for finding ways to innovate and collaborate with teams to improve outputs
  • Experience with productive and positive vendor relationship management
  • Individual should possess confidence and composure and polished presentation skills to effectively attend and lead meetings in-person with key clients on a daily basis
  • Looking for candidates who understand all media holistically including digital Planning/Buying -(Digital mindset/fluency and curiosity for Innovation) 
  • Strong leadership presence and proven client management skills (ability to manage the maintenance on the brand and own the plan)
