Job Description

Role

This is an entry level role within the PMX Operations team. The PMX Operations team are tasked with making efficiencies through automation, simplification, deduplication and standardization of work. The Executive will support the Solutions Developer, and they will together work closely with Planning and Investment teams to drive efficiencies by analysing client / team requirements and providing smart solutions using VBA to automate. The key is to listen to people and ask the right questions to identify their “need”, as well as not being afraid to challenge convention. As well as being supported by the Solutions Developer, the Executive will also have a Manager / Associate Director who look after the whole team, all of whom report in to the PMX Operations Director.

Team Department/Profile

The PMX Operations Team are often described as the “engine” at the heart of Publicis Media as they perform a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of client campaigns. They work with the Investment teams day to day, but they also liaise closely with the agency Finance team, Planning teams and the Data Sciences team.

The Operations team has only recently been formed and has a roadmap for growth, giving the successful candidate an exciting and challenging opportunity to help shape the future direction of the department.

With a remit to cover all media, and a broad client base that includes categories such as Retail, FMCG, Automotive, Travel, Finance and Entertainment, the Operations team are skilled in streamlining processes to suit all client needs, whilst maintaining accuracy and delivering to deadlines.

The team is friendly, sociable, hardworking and dedicated, but above all passionate about media.

Key Responsibilities

·       Completing all tasks accurately and in a timely manner

·       Building and maintaining strong internal relationships across multiple teams / departments

·       Identifying and building efficiencies into the Operations team processes

·       Analysing client / internal team requirements and providing smart, automated solutions that will make the process more accurate and efficient by reducing manual errors

·       Understanding key business issues and what solutions can be built using data to address them

·       Helping to grow team capability in data systems and solutions

·       Working with Operations Manager / Associate Director and Data Sciences team to ensure that naming conventions and booking categories are standardized to enable ease of reporting

·       Developing basic knowledge and understanding of all media

·       Proactively contributing to team meetings, team initiatives and knowledge sharing

·       Testing the dashboard and systems for all the different variables to ensure they provide accurate results under different conditions
