Job Description

The Zenith Worldwide Performance Associate Director is responsible for all aspects of digital campaign implementation. This involves managing the accounts, maintaining best practice implementation for optimisation and campaign set up.

Team/Department Profile:

Zenith is currently setting up a new dedicated unit focused on managing all performance media (direct, programmatic, social and paid search) at the global level.  This team will be powered by Performics and is an embedded team within Zenith Worldwide.

This centralised executional model brings a new transformational approach to digital execution and will become a blueprint for future clients at Zenith. A strong focus on data, technology and automation will make this programme a unique environment to work in and develop your professional skills.

We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and develop a team. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their team autonomously and be the key Senior contact for Planning and Clients.

At Associate Director level you will ideally have had valuable exposure to a broad range of channels and activations (Digital / Brand / Performance / Social etc.), although this is not essential to have worked across all these areas. For this specific role, a combination of Direct Digital, Programmatic planning and Social experience is preferred. Although we will consider individuals from either background, Digital leadership will be a key requirement for the successful candidate.

As an Associate Director, key responsibilities will be

  • Understand and effectively communicate Zenith value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts
  • Full understanding of digital media landscape and integrations between different biddable media channels. Ability to navigate and educate clients to ensure best in class activation
  • Seamlessly running of accounts: best in class planning product Digital Display, ‘zero issues policy’, no queries, no missed deadlines
  • Oversee his/her daily client portfolio campaign maintenance including communication, campaign setup, troubleshooting and reporting
  • Oversee and resolve weekly campaign QA reports to ensure accurate campaign results and trafficking routines
  • Improving campaign operation effectiveness such as reporting automation, developing process/service such as a new product adoption, working on award entries and case studies
  • Creation of documents to showcase performance and provide in-depth analysis of results
  • Work with agency stakeholders to manage, implement and deliver wider client project on the likes of DMP, dynamic creative, multi-touchpoint attribution etc
  • Inform clients/ planning of innovative opportunities as soon as they are in market
  • Smart solutions that achieve KPIs, measured against agreed benchmarks, and have solid commercial rationale
  • Line management of juniors, with responsibility for their wellbeing, workflows and learning and development
  • Cascading best practice down to junior team members, inclusive of financial due diligence and their completion of administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning consumer facing Digital Campaigns
  • Full comprehensive understanding of the digital marketplace, inclusive of ad-tech and programmatic opportunities
  • Advanced knowledge of Programmatic activation
  • Extensive experience of managing teams
  • Proven record of driving value for clients (hitting client KPIs and audit beating results) and a strong demonstration of commercial understanding
  • Be confident working with numbers and large amounts of data
  • Be able to adhere to processes and best practices
  • Excellent relationships with senior media owners and 3rd party suppliers
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; working under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, solutions-focused with a positive outlook
  • Excellent English communication skills – written and spoken
  • Advanced communication and writing skills – working across the team, within the wider agency, with clients and media owners
