Job Description

Publicis Media’s data lake framework serves as the core platform that enables Publicis Media agency teams to perform tasks involved with analyzing and measuring media delivery across data platforms. The Technology team is pivotal in realizing the Product vision by building successful and innovative technology solutions.  The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing product vision and ensuring delivery of product features and roadmap in accordance with stakeholder needs. This particular Data Lake product will enable ID connectors so that end users can unlock data and insights that drive media decisions.

• ID-Enablement Product Lead
  • Defines and helps architect ID-Enablement solutions 
  • Engineering POC
•    Data Quality 1st Responder
•    Identifies and coordinates with Ops teams to identify features / improvements / opportunities
•    Owns JIRA stories and bug-related tasks
•    Communicates product requirements to engineering
•    Organizes / prioritizes sprint objectives
•    Ensures delivery of product updates
•    Writes and/or coordinates for documentation related to product updates (DDs, ERD, Prod Mktg)

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product vision and communication of that vision
  • Serve as primary point of contact with Engineering for the realization of product vision
  • Prepare and groom product requirements
  • Own and manage product stories
  • Oversee day-to-day product functionality
  • Drive automation of quality checks associated with product and related data sets
  • Write and /or coordinate with Product Marketing for the writing of product artifacts such as Data Dictionaries, reference guides and marketing presentations
  • Prepare reports, recommendations and general documentation as needed
  • Engage with cross-organization stakeholders including client agency teams, operations teams and engineers as needed to support data products.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of digital media experience, particularly experience working in ad tech industry with a data-centric role
  • Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements 
  • Hands-on analytics-based programming experience in SQL and ability to articulate technical ETL requirements
  • Practical experience in scrum-based Agile development methodology:
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent
  • B.S. in Engineering, Information Management, or Computer Sciences preferred
