Job Description

Core role purpose: To provide strategic media thought leadership across key client business and across all media including digital

Key responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Translate business and consumer understanding into actionable communication strategies across all media
  • Lead the total strategy and product delivery for your team across the client portfolio
  • Integrate digital into all solutions/future proof our offer
  • Demonstrate ability to contribute to wider client business level conversations
  • Be a hero for the Starcom strategic product

Execution

  • Ensure flawless execution across the total team
  • Play an active role in value delivery for all clients (support negotiations, media cost setting, achieving media objectives)
  • Ensure robust process established and followed by the team
  • Work in partnership with external partners to ensure the best outcomes for our clients

Relationship

  • Represent Starcom as a passionate advocate and valued contributor of the clients business
  • Foster strong working practices between the team and external client partners
  • Demonstrate value add to clients business & take full responsibility for (assigned) clients satisfaction with Starcom
  • Deliver timely responses
  • Anticipate clients business needs, instigating pro-active solutions and strategies that deliver a tangible difference to their business

Talent

  • Coach and motivate
  • Develop exceptional, multi-disciplinary talent
  • Manage workload and resource accordingly
  • Lead team culture and pride in work place, setting an example of business dedication to Starcom and clients

Financial

  • Ownership of revenue generated by client portfolio
  • Grow and develop new revenue streams
  • Understand and manage client profitability
  • Implement and manage accurate process around invoicing/cash collection

Agency leadership

  • Actively contribute to the Starcom leadership team
  • Contribute to business planning/business planning decision via leadership team
  • Be a passionate advocate for Starcom
  • Contribute to new business & the process of actively driving new business leads to expand Starcom’s client and revenue base
  • Bring digital /future thinking to wider business
