Job Description

The Manager reports to the Associate Media Director, supervising Sr. Associates and Associates. This person oversees campaigns from start to finish and will utilize industry knowledge to improve performance against client goals.

Looking for a highly motivated candidate who wants to make an impact, managing ideas across the video eco-system (Linear TV, FEP, VOD, OTT, Mobile, Connected TV, etc).  The candidate must have a strong understanding of the Digital landscape. They will work closely with the media and analytics team to maintain quality control of the media campaigns in market and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals. The Manager is key to building and maintaining industry publisher relationships.  We are looking for a strategic thinker who can be a mentor to junior planners, a leader within the agency and a partner with our clients.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES 

• Seasoned and Confident candidate who can effectively multi-task buying responsibilities
• Stay apprised of industry standards, new media programs/trends, and competitive landscape
• Provide media expertise, share media knowledge and continuous feedback
• Develop digital media strategies and tactical approach
• Train and mentors junior planners on best practices of online media planning/buying
• Assign and manage workload of  junior media planners
• Work closely with publishing partners to build and maintain relationships
• Manage client budgets across multiple tactics (display, mobile, video, social etc.)
• Foster environment of shared learning and acts as a trusted source of media information for agency and client meetings
• Partners with Programmatic, Content, Analytics, Ad Ops, Creative teams
• Provides strategic insights for weekly client reports
• Writes media POVs
• Has working knowledge of direct response media and how to optimize these campaigns
• Ideally has some experience negotiating and executing content programs
• Liase with strategy team to execute campaigns on time
• Ability to work with the strategy team to communicate team needs, set client expectations and create timelines
• Extremely detail & process oriented. Has the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Required
• 3-5 years of overall media planning/buying experience, minimum of  2 years online media buying is preferred
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior staff
• Exceptional verbal/written communication and organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Solid presentation skills
• Knowledge of Ad Serving technology
• Knowledge of media tools (Prisma, comScore)
