About Blue449: TAAG Operations:

Technology and Activation Group (TAAG) is a centralized practice within Blue449. TAAG drives and evolves the traditional Ad Ops offering into a Technology Consultancy. Develop and measure KPIs aligned with the objectives of the client. Recommends selects and manage technologies for campaigns. Governance of digital data including auditing and support, nomenclature and quality assurance. Data collection, management and distribution of reporting. Deliver optimization insights and recommendations to the digital team.


Description: 
We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This will be both in terms of applying industry knowledge (and sharing this with the team) to manage key tagging, trafficking, data, measurement, and partner relationships in order to drive campaign efficiency and develop leading technical expertise. You will be confident with clients and clear in delivering our agency point of view and recommendations.

The successful candidate will have a fully rounded knowledge of digital ad serving, measurement, and associated technology and partners. In addition, the candidate must have data analysis experience, Ad Servers and Tag Management Tools

This role will manage the end-to-end Operations -> Optimization process, including:

  • KPI creation and planning support using historical performance data
  • Advice on campaign set up (naming, tagging, etc.)
  • Escalation Point for any internal Technology questions/ issues/POV
  • Discover efficiencies through data structure to create streamlined communication for planning and analytics insights

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with clients to develop, guide, and implement an Intelligence Evolution Roadmap that defines the right approach to measurement, analysis and deaccessioning to reach our clients business goals. They work to grow new and existing relationships by working closely with Solutions and Analytics Leadership teams to assess client business models and identify new revenue opportunities within the context of data and technology constraints.

The TAAG group has a broad focus, from developing long-term holistic measurement plans by channel to creating personalized, algorithmic-driven continuous optimization strategies (and everything in between).

They spend significant time with analytics, investment teams to gain deep insight into client business needs, becoming trusted partners and advisors to internal and client team executives. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

·       Provides direction, collaborates and implements solutions that ensure seamless integration, technical functionality, data quality, accessibility, and consistency of marketing technologies and connectivity with other systems

·       Partner with TAAG and Analytics VP  and solution team members to effectively communicate, drive alignment and understanding, assess the impact to current processes or utilization of technology enhancements

·       Develop effective measurement strategies to enable data capture, analysis and optimization throughout the organization.

·       Leads educations and evangelizes intelligent measurement planning of measurement technology, data integration, and vendor selection

·       Deliver on the organizational data strategy by creating and implementing data governance frameworks and measurement design documents

·       Develop strong relationships within the organization to continually provide data capture strategy, process improvements and thought leadership to client account teams

·       Manage relationships with external partners/ providers related to marketing technology systems to ensure consistent high level of functionality, service, and performance

·       Constant pursuit of, emerging trends, mobile measurement capabilities and new technologies to continuously improve our measurement capabilities in the ever changing digital ecosphere

This position is supported by a team of has direct leadership responsibility for measurement operation analyst(s), and TAAG PM Leadership.

Qualifications

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree

Good to have certification in web analytics tools such as DoubleClickManager, DoubleClickStudio etc.

 

Years of Relevant Experience

 

4-6 years of marketing technology, experience primarily focused on data collection

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

 

·       Expert level knowledge of Implementing DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Adobe Site Catalyst/Analytics, Tag managers (i.e., Google Tag Manager, Ensighten)

·       Intermediate understanding of DSP, DMPs, Verification and Data Layers

·       Experience with requirements documentation (use cases)

·       Ability to understand concepts of data exchange between systems and articulate that functionality into system designs

·       HTML 5, Rich Media, VAST, VPAID, OTT, CTV, OVV  experience

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Proven ability to meet deadlines, while simultaneously working on multiple projects

·       Strong leadership skills, and preferred managerial experience

·       Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction

·       Excellent management, communication and time prioritization skills

·       Creative problem solver with the ability to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data
