Job Description

The Director ensures the cross-functional team executes the campaigns with excellence across channels (focusing on custom direct partnerships with publishers) & functions (account, ad operations, analytics, strategy). Many of the partnerships will be forged with Digital, Publishing & Social partnerships, but familiarity with Video is a plus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Build creative partnership ideas and tactics that are tied to clear brand objectives and bring actionable results for the brand
•Work closely with clients, media partners (content studios, sites, publishers, etc.), internal strategy teams, and account/creative counterparts to sell in and steward content partnership programs
•Serve as key client contact, regularly presenting recommendations to clients via formal & informal channels
•Collaborate with internal, publisher and client measurement leads to establish and report on program KPIs
•Assist in changing the way brand messaging is delivered to consumers via partnerships to meet and exceed business objectives
•Seek innovative, data-driven and technology-led solutions whenever possible
•Knowing industry news and developments.  The candidate will be responsible for conducting brainstorms for a variety of brand teams and will need to apply entertainment solutions to marketing needs.  •Supervise a team of Associate Directors, Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates

Qualifications

Here are more details on the level of experience that’s required to excel in this position:

•Minimum of seven to ten years of relevant entertainment/promotional marketing or production experience within an advertising agency, production company, promotional agency, network or digital company
•Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities – ability to think unconventionally in proposing potential solutions or opportunities to issues
•Strong editing and proofreading skills
•Exposure to production and general knowledge of the TV/digital production industry
•Awareness of branded entertainment, entertainment marketing, knowledge of product placement, consumer trends and insights
•Proven experience in construction of marketing programs and exposure to contract negotiations for marketing programs
•Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively and work well under pressure to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines
•Knowledge of overall brand positioning and how to translate brand needs into creative concepts
•Superior organization skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams and oversee execution of numerous projects at one time
•Exposure to working with Integrated marketing communication teams and senior management
•Strong client relations skills and ability to strategically think from a client’s perspective
•Established relationships with networks, sites, publishers and content studios is a plus

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience
•Solid working knowledge of how to integrate media research into the planning process (MRI, Nielsen, comScore, Emarketer)
•Well-versed in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Hands-on experience planning & executing Digtal campaigns end-to-end
•Deep working knowledge of third-party ad servers/reporting functions (Doubleclick, Innovid)
•Proficient in the use of Prisma media management tool
•Proficient understanding of third-party ad measurement and traffic tools (Integral Ad Science)
•Strong oral/written communication and negotiation skills
