The Royal London team are looking after one of the biggest UK client within the agency, developing media communications where Performance and Brand co-exist harmoniously.
Royal London are one of the largest clients in the agency and growing year on year. They’re relentlessly commercial and bold in their decision making.
They operate across multiple off and online media and are constantly challenging us to find them new routes to grow their business.
We have a very strong relationship with them and need someone who will be able to support the Planning Manager and Associate Director in achieving client’s volume and cost per acquisition targets as well as increasing brand awareness and consideration. This is the ideal time for the Senior Account Executive to join the team and make your mark, with Royal London expanding their product portfolio.
Marriott was a recent Global win for the business so this represents a great opportunity to help cement a new piece of business and create a positive impression with a new client. The business was a ‘Power of One’ win, meaning work is spread across multiple Publicis agencies. In this case, broadly speaking Digitas handle the digital media and Spark are responsible for the offline.
As such the successful candidate will be responsible for the offline planning on the account, as well as ensuring we liaise with Digitas effectively and seamlessly.
The Marriott portfolio is broad and as such, the audiences we target will vary from brief to brief. There is opportunity to work with some of our European counterparts too, so there is plenty to get stuck into!
Who are we looking for?
This role would benefit an ambitious, experienced and pro-active Senior Executive who has the vision and skills to move the brands forward in new directions. They need to have great communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills – our clients like to be challenged but require a sound rationale. Close attention to detail, people management skills and a positive attitude are also crucial.
Because the role is demanding you will need to make an immediate impact in the area of day to day campaign planning and delivery and so it is important that you have experience at an executive or senior executive level in a media agency. You will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the campaigns, researching into audiences, management of reporting and input in media recommendations and assist in the development of brand and performance activations. You will also be expected to be a key point of contact on the day to day guidance with the internal buying teams to achieve the common goal of delivering world class work and meeting clients’ business targets.
You will be expected to develop ideas with both internal and external teams that challenge our clients and makes their brands famous. You will be expected to demonstrate your confidence and understanding of working with demanding and high profile brands, and have a track record of developing innovative work.
In the planning team you will get exposure to all media channels and direct client contact from the start. It’s a challenging, fast-paced and fun role that for the right candidate will be the catalyst for a turbo charge of their career in media
