Job Description

Overview:  Drive engagement and media ROI for T-Mobile for the multicultural consumer with emphasis on Hispanics and African Americans, but could include other diverse targets including Asian, Native American and others.

Strategy Supervisor Multicultural will be responsible for the development & execution of Multicultural media strategies and integrated plans. Ideal candidate will be have strong Multicultural knowledge and media planning experience. Position will report into Associate Director Multicultural.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

Rooted understanding nuances & synergies, with deep cultural knowledge of trends & insights, & ability to contribute with the clients’ business growth in mind.

•Investigate & communicate market intelligence/interpretation on an account & category level (i.e. audience analysis, competitive monitoring, seasonal trends)

•Coordinate & integrate planning & buying disciplines on a team level across all phases of planning

  • Be a Multicultural touchpoint throughout the entire planning process, serve as a source of information & standards to help direct initiatives
  • Inspire teams with strategies rooted in insights
  • Active contributor to performance reporting & attribution assessment (i.e. recaps, competitive, measurement & analytics)


 
Client

Provide in depth & actionable research & insights on media specifically & in support of marketing business case.

•Ability to articulate & present Blue 449’s total market perspective & strategies

•In collaboration with the Associate Director, Multicultural - contribute to client communication as it relates to MC efforts, recommendations, POVs


 Multicultural Team

• Support Associate Director Multicultural in all aspects of communication plan development and recommendations

•Write White Papers & POVs on new industry developments in Multicultural media & marketing

• Develop & maintain relationships with media vendors, assist with meeting coordination

•Facilitate execution discussions in conjunction with Blue 449 teams across all media

•Participate in New Business efforts

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

•Minimum 5 year’s related experience &/or training (specifically on MC planning)

•A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment & strong account service focus

•Intelligent with excellent communication skills

•Research Knowledge: Proficiency in the use of syndicated research & media measurement

  • Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite, Nielsen, Kantar Software, IMS, Flowchart Software, R/F & Optimization Software, Social Tracking tools, ComScore, Google Analytics
  • Demonstrate ability to learn new propriety software & processes quickly & proficiently
