Job Description

Overview:  Develop and implement plans across traditional and digital media channels for Blue 449.

Responsibilities:
• Establishes media objectives and strategies for advertising campaigns that connect to client’s business challenges
• Develops and presents holistic media strategies across TV, Radio, Print, OOH, and Digital
• Communicates approved plans to investment teams for implementation
• Manages the flow of client changes in direction, goals, and budgets; is aware of the need to create solutions, resolve problems, and disseminate information
• Monitors performance and optimizations of all media and develops rationale to showcase stewardship for clients
• Evaluates communication goals & businesss goals to guide media mix and recommended cross-channel approach
• Proficient in media planning tools to guide investment choices based on industry data
• Leverage owned data to make informed recommendations
• Provides research for and write media Point-of-Views. Provide recommendations that are industry leading based on a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace
• Maintains close contact with media representatives to keep abreast of current data pertaining to their properties and the markets they serve
• Collaborative across teams to ensure collective strategy is enacted across teams

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required with related coursework
• 4+years media planning inclusive of all channels as well as negotiation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, good follow through, and able to multi-task
• Works well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Ability to own projects from start to finish with limited oversight
• Can work with limited supervision
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, media planning tools with particular emphasis on Media Tools
