Job Description

Overview:

The Associate Media Manager will support the Supervisor and Planner in the development and implementation of media plans as well as campaign results analysis and buy stewardship.

Role Objectives:

  • Facilitate the gathering and organization of all media rate and research information required to develop the media strategies
  • Develop and maintain all backup charts necessary for media plans and media analyses 
  • Assist with the coordination of flawless media execution by maintaining communications with clients, vendors and partner agencies
  • Manage Authorization To Buy/Order Process – obtain and organize written client approval of all plans and plan changes - - add/update orders in the buying system 
  • Assist in campaign results analysis/reporting - compile results data, help analyze performance trends, maintain and issue weekly TV clearance reports
  • Update schedules, budget charts, and flowcharts
  • Assist in billing for assigned clients - - using planned activity and vendor invoicing to confirm accuracy of billing, identify and resolve billing discrepancies as needed, and adhere to billing deadlines
  • Remain current in the Advertising Industry and the industry of assigned client(s) through trade publications, newspaper articles, Online resources, team members and other sources

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Four-year college degree
  • Excellent mathematical ability: can understand and evaluate budget/results data effectively
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening and organizational skills
  • Proactive
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to develop and learn advanced knowledge/skills
