Job Description

Team Department/Profile

The Creative & Production team sits within the Content Practice for Publicis Media. Our Content Practice consists of 100+ specialists working across content strategy & planning, creative, production, social, influencers and partnerships. We service our agency brands, building complete content stories which are audience-centric and platform-native. Our global scale gives us unrivalled access to market-leading data, tech, market places & partners.

The Role

The role reports directly to the Head of Creative & Production and will have one direct report. But this is a highly integrated team, you’ll also be required to work closely with producers, copywriters, strategists, social managers and planners among others.

The role will often be client-facing so the successful candidate will be professional, friendly and comfortable dealing with fast moving, and sometimes difficult, requests. You will also contribute to building relationships with clients and other agency teams and will input into ideas generation when necessary, supporting the creative directors in helping to shape each client’s ongoing objectives, and bringing ideas to life with design excellence.

You will have a keen interest in all types of media. We are looking for someone who understands an integrated approach to creative challenges and the resultant outputs that provoke and encourage sharing behavior. You’ll therefore have a solid understanding of design, communication and advertising principles.

Responsibilities

·        Taking the briefs directly from the client or internal stakeholders either with or without creative director.

·        Understand the client context and need, being a key partner in representing that through visual comms.

·        Managing, when appropriate, the design process directly with the client teams.

·        Supporting all producers involved with any given design workflow

·        Supporting the Head of Creative & Production to ensure design status of live projects is accurate and up to date.

·        Ensuring all efforts are made to maintain creative integrity whilst generating revenue for the agency at all times.

·        General design and visual inspiration and consultancy across the team and the wider group as required.

Qualifications

Experience

You are an experienced in the design for content production, ideally in an agency environment, with an emphasis on integrated digital content. You will have an innate ability to craft beautiful experiences, whether that is producing integrated content from scratch or retouching images from a shoot that you’ve helped art direct. You are visually excited by any media and are looking for a role that gives you experience in a variety of channels across a broad client portfolio.  

Key skills

·        Knowledge and experience in creating social content

·        Knowledge of digital design and production workflows, especially Adobe Creative Cloud.

·        Good understanding of the digital and social media landscape.

·        Basic animation skills using After Effects

·        Able to illustrate storyboards and/or produce mock-ups

·        Passionate about beautiful and commercially effective visual design.

·        Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and visual.

Nice to haves:

·        Good knowledge of typography, colour theory, and information hierarchy.

·        Working knowledge of 3D design software, ideally Cinema4D.

·        Good working knowledge of motion design and VFX, both creatively and from a production workflow perspective.

·        Good working knowledge of HTML coding and interaction design.

·        Experience mentoring Junior Designers and/or Interns
