Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator is the backbone of the Talent team. You will be the first line of contact for employees. The HR Coordinator is responsible for all facets of the onboarding process for new hires, general daily questions from employees and managers, maintaining data and systems, and supporting all other Talent programs and policies. You will report to the Director, Talent for the East region. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. Your Impact:

  • Be a resource for general employee questions regarding Company benefits and procedures
  • Primary escalation point of payroll and benefits issues from or to centralized support function from employees
  • Responsible for new hire set up and onboarding, including new hire orientation and partnering with Finance, IT, and Facilities to ensure onboarding for all new team members nationally
  • Administrator for employee systems, granting and terminating access and updating information
  • Prepare payroll paperwork on a regular cadence according to payroll deadlines for new hires, compensation changes, terminations.
  • Pull data and creating ad hoc reports from a variety of systems
  • Conduct regular audits for data integrity and accuracy, and resolves issues
  • Coordinate logistics and communications of HR programs, information sessions
  • Take on projects relating to achievement of Talent and goals

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • 0-1 years in a Human Resources role or role with transferrable skills 
  • Skilled in the full MS Office Suite (including maintaining large spreadsheets)
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and thoughtful way with all levels of the organization
  • Able to stay motivated even during repetitive tasks

This role is non-exempt and is located in our New York City office.

Compensation Range: $47,000 - $51,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
