Job Description

We're seeking a EVP Digital Experience Strategist to steer our strategy team in designing and implementing innovative digital experiences. This role is for a visionary leader committed to pioneering digital excellence in complex settings. The ideal candidate should:

  • Excel in formulating comprehensive digital strategies, encompassing experience visions, principles, consumer journeys, and detailed requirements, collaborating effectively with creative teams and technology partners.
  • A proven track record in leading strategy teams and superior communication skills for executive-level presentations are essential.
  • The ability to find clarity in chaotic environments and turn challenges into structured, actionable strategies is crucial.
  • Experience in the Pharma sector is a plus.

Responsibilities:

The EVP of Strategy at Razorfish is a growth architect, working to grow our people, our product, our reputation, and our revenue at scale: across a craft, region, and 20M+ integrated account. You will be expected to manage teams across multiple sub-brands or workstreams on large pieces of integrated business, while also pitching large new business opportunities with positive outcomes.

The EVP of Strategy is expected to proactively identify and execute organic growth opportunities, leveraging Razorfish and/or Publicis Groupe capabilities across accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving, owning, and delivering unique thought leadership that elevates Razorfish across the industry. 

The EVP of Strategy serves as trusted strategic counsel amongst senior clients. The ideal candidate embodies intellectual curiosity and a passion for the strategy discipline and is equally adept at leading conceptual discussions while also translating complex concepts and solutions across diverse audiences internally and to clients.  

As an EVP of Strategy, your passion for the strategy discipline translates to ensuring teams are motivated and retained by identifying opportunities for them to expand and grow, while also serving as a mentor and example to senior talent. You will actively identify and recruit top talent by designing and refining a recruitment strategy that also exemplifies RZF core values.

  • Manage teams across multiple sub-brands or workstreams on large pieces of integrated business 
  • New business 
    • Pitch large new business with positive outcomes 
    • Proactively identify and execute organic growth opportunities that leverage RZF and/or Groupe capabilities across accounts 
  • Strategic guidance 
    • Drive, own and deliver unique thought leadership 
    • Lead conceptual discussions, and establish yourself as trusted strategic counsel among senior clients 
    • Help translate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences – both internally and to clients 
    • Scope and drive the development of new business engagements (scoping, timing, deliverables, effort) 
  • Recruitment and talent growth 
    • Ensure teams are motivated and retained by giving them opportunities to expand and grow  
    • Mentor senior talent and support their career development  
    • Design and refine recruitment strategy that helps to identify and recruit top talent 
    • Attend and contribute to staffing calls 
  • Agency leadership 
    • Develop strong relationships with internal leadership 
    • Represent Razorfish core values 
    • Contribute to strategy team events and Razorfish events such as SPC Day and Quarterly Town Halls 
    • Source and or build technology that progresses our agency product and way of working 
    • Contribute to Razorfish’s “How” (way of working), and develop solutions and tools that improve outcomes 
    • Collaborate with cross-discipline strategists to elevate offering and make our processes more effective  

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of experience in an agency or consulting environment, as a guide 
  • Have a growth mindset, with the ability to push forward with an open mind when it comes to work and approach to colleagues and clients 
  • Demonstrate a transparent and uncomplicated sense of personal accountability for work and larger outcomes for project, team, agency and client 
  • Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to flex in real-time to ensure a winning outcome, regardless of the situation or dynamic 
  • Demonstrated success in:  
    • Inventing an entirely new artifact/deliverable that expands our ability to engage an audience 
    • Presenting to C/Executive decisionmakers and create discourse that achieves high-stakes outcomes 
    • Taking a mandate for seismic change and execute against it confidently 
    • Leading and manage a group of any shape or size, contributing meaningfully to the growth and well-being of every person connected, while realizing an ambitious shared goal 
    • Providing counsel to a C-level/Executive decisionmakers resulting in a positive impact on their business and our future opportunities. 
  • Fully capable of owning all strategy needs on pitches of any size and complexity, including global and Publicis multi-agency Power of One engagements, with a track record of success

Compensation Range: $167,000 - $299,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
