About the Role:

The Copy Supervisor will be responsible for partnering with colleagues to develop strategically on-point and scientifically accurate creative work, presenting that work to clients, and contributing conceptual work for internal agency initiatives and new business efforts. 

More specifically, the Copy Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work together with art directors, planning, and account team to provide creative, strategically sound solutions for clients and in-house and new business initiatives
  • Own appropriate projects from beginning to end 
  • Write and reference promotional materials
  • Constantly look for original ideas and the best way to present those ideas to decision-makers
  • Submit complete, fully referenced, and annotated manuscripts consistent with clients’ style guide on time and on budget 
  • Initiate data searches and maintain reference files 
  • Supervise and direct junior writers or copywriters as needed
  • Clearly communicate information and direction to other writers as well as outside suppliers, freelancers, and editorial staff
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations 
  • Attend market research as needed
  • Work closely with the art, editorial, account, strategy, and project management colleagues to ensure timelines are consistently met
  • Present work in an organized and engaging manner

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of healthcare agency writing experience
  • BA or BS degree
  • Proven ability to think conceptually
  • Strong communications skills
  • Past experience as a healthcare writer for an HCP audience 

Additional Information

Compensation Range:  $73,500 - $123,500 annually.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
