Job Description

Saatchi NY is looking for on-site Account Management interns to join our NYC agency this summer.  We provide an immersive, fast-paced, Summer Internship in which you will gain a comprehensive understanding of our business, be given real client deliverables, receive hands-on mentorship from experienced advertising industry professionals, develop your professional skills to meet day-to-day agency and client expectations, and collaborate in teams to solve a client’s business challenge. 

This paid 10-week program runs June 3 - August 9, and is available to incoming college seniors and recent graduates.  Applications will be accepted online through March 31, 2024 and we will notify selected candidates in late April/May.

Your Impact:

As an Account Management Intern, here’s what you’ll do:

–         Confidently provide client service support

–         Participate in daily or weekly status meetings, populate and distribute status reports

–         Make sure the team is prepped for all meetings, client and internal – get timeslots from the client, book a room, send the materials ahead of time, bring printouts, project, take notes and send a timely recap, etc..

–         Interface with agency departments, clients, and other agency partners to execute a number of critical projects

–         Own the competitive deck and routinely monitor relevant websites/competitors to track up-to-the-day competitive work

 

Qualifications

To be an Account Management Intern, here’s what you should have:

•          Currently a rising senior working toward or recently graduated from a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

•          Understanding of interactive communication, marketing, and business objectives

•          Passion for the marketing and advertising industry

•          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•          Strong problem-solving skills

•          Attention to detail

•          Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and be proactive

•          Ability to build strong relationships with internal team members

•          Sound knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Compensation Range: $15.38 - $22.36/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. This role may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria /have been met. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 03/31/2024.
