Job Description

We are immediately hiring an Account Manager to join our growing Customer Success, East team in NYC. 

Account Managers (AM) are the primary account owners of PubMatic’s global publisher base. They are responsible for onboarding and managing premium publishers to grow their digital advertising business, focusing on the programmatic revenue opportunity.

AM's consult with key tactical contacts to ensure that publishers are making the most of their programmatic connection with PubMatic’s platform. AM's are expected to develop an understanding of PubMatic’s standard programmatic integrations, helping publishers to successfully self-service their integrations with PubMatic. 

AM's are responsible for meeting both quarterly top-line revenue targets, as well as performance expectations for Publishers, while protecting their brands. AM's employ a portfolio mindset to manage their publisher relationships at scale. This includes performance analyses, cross-functional project management and industry event attendance. AM's are seen as programmatic specialists and advisors who help their publishers achieve results.

AM's will have an opportunity to grow along either a business/sales or a technical track.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage account setup and maintain accounts on the PubMatic system
  • Ensure on-time execution of technical integrations and deliver service excellence during implementation
  • Keeping multiple support systems updated (e.g. Salesforce, JIRA, etc.)
  • Actively respond to escalations for both Publisher and Demand clients relating to integration issues, discrepancies, brand safety, etc.
  • Generate and interpret reporting that will yield competitive insights for our clients
  • Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure higher returns for the end customer
  • Understand and deliver quarterly business reviews with clients to review technical issues and product support opportunities
  • Use complex datasets to track performance trends, identify anomalies and their root causes

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of work experience with programmatic advertising 
  • Proven success managing a portfolio of mid-market accounts
  • Operationally minded with a startup mindset  
  • Proven success in fast-paced, structured environments
  • Experience working with clients
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to solve problems at scale and collaborate with a team
  • Can quickly master nuances of a complex industry with many moving pieces and constant change
  • Interest in working against an assigned quota and driving sustainable growth
  • An engaged team player with strong interpersonal skills who knows how to have fun while achieving results

Preferred:

  • Extremely proactive and biased towards taking action
  • Creative, independent problem solver, with proven ability to reason through ambiguous problems
  • Strong process management and analytical skills, making it easy to juggle multiple client needs and projects
  • Can quickly master nuances of a complex industry with many moving pieces and constant change
