Job Description

Senior Human Resources Director

We are looking for an action oriented Senior Human Resources Director for our Human Resources team in the PubMatic NYC office. The Senior Director will be a team player who can execute a people strategy and develop programs in support of the company mission. The Senior Director will manage employee development and Human Resources operations to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving goals and objectives of the company.  We are looking for a change agent who can streamline efficiencies throughout the organization by mentoring managers and employees of the company and delivering excellent customer service to all. The Senior Director of Human Resources will execute a people strategy and develop programs in support of the company mission. You will lead the U.S. HR team and collaborate with your international counterparts to ensure that the right HR solutions are delivered at the right time based on business needs

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the SVP of HR in the development and delivery of the global HR Strategy
  • Identify HR priorities, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement; researching and sourcing best practices as well as proposing and delivering solutions that enhance the employee experience
  • Provide direction, coaching and facilitation to all employees and managers to ensure alignment with company strategy and values, including guidance on problem solving, conflict resolution, compliance and development
  • Lead implementation of Human Resources policies and programs
  • Consult with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in HR team efficiency
  • Implement predictive workforce analytics, skill gap analysis and workforce planning for today’s workforce and tomorrow’s workforce
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing benefits programs, policies and guidelines to ensure they are market-competitive, cost-effective and aligned with company objectives
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Work in partnership with and supervise, direct and manage the HR Operations and Office Management teams
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements concerning local employment, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required

Qualifications

Requirements: what you need to have…

  • MBA Preferred, Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong operational focus and proven ability to manage HR functional areas and related programs
  • Passion for learning and development and employee engagement.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others in HR and throughout an organization
  • Proven ability to influence key decisions and make effective organizational impact at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Forward thinking and strategically focused mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives to the corporate objectives.
  • Effective facilitator providing highly educational and persuasive HR training around sensitive and/or complex HR topics.
  • 7- 10 years of broad HR leadership experience.
  • Experience with Digital Media or technology preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS systems
