Job Description

We are looking for an action oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team in our NYC office. The Generalist will be a team player who can manage employee learning and development and Human Resources operations to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving goals and objectives of the company. We are looking for a change agent who can streamline efficiencies throughout the organization by mentoring managers and employees of the company and delivering excellent customer service to all.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR leadership team in the development and delivery of the global HR Strategy
  • Identify HR priorities, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement; researching and sourcing best practices as well as proposing and delivering solutions that enhance the employee experience
  • Develop and implement learning and development initiatives for the PubMatic team
  • Provide direction, coaching and facilitation to all employees and managers to ensure alignment with company strategy and values, including guidance on problem solving, conflict resolution, compliance and development
  • Lead implementation of Human Resources policies and programs
  • Consult with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in HR team efficiency
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing benefits programs, policies and guidelines to ensure they are market-competitive, cost-effective and aligned with company objectives
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Work in partnership with and supervise the HR Operations and Office Management teams
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements concerning local employment, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly build credibility with employees and become the go-to resource for all HR-related matters
  • Passion for learning and development and employee engagement
  • Experience in digital media or technology preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and HRIS systems
