Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager

PubMatic’s One Platform technology powers the programmatic advertising strategy of leading publishers and premium brands.

PubMatic is hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team on a 3 to 6 month contract and focus on hiring technology roles. You will be joining a high-impact recruiting team functioning as internal consultants to drive strategic, operational, and organizational excellence. Ideal candidates will be skilled, driven and creative with high enthusiasm for identifying and closing talent. You are business savvy, autonomous and understand that the quality of the talent you identify contributes to the long-term success of PubMatic as we increase our global footprint in 2016.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly source qualified, exceptionally talented candidates for a variety of open positions across Engineering, Big Data, Product and Sales business units.
  • Work directly with hiring managers to ensure the hire of top quality candidates from both skill and cultural perspective
  • Screen, track, and recommend qualified candidates.
  • Source passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research
  • Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals.
  • Execute sourcing strategies that produce a diverse slate of candidates,
  • Develop extensive pipeline candidate pools to fill current and potential needs.
  • Communicate with candidates/new hires (phone and email) throughout entire hiring and orientation process.
  • Manage application tracking system
  • Work in tandem with the Director, Talent Acquisition in developing and executing talent procurement and retention process and strategy.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sourcing and/or direct recruiting experience (In-house or agency).
  • Experience hiring for a variety of tech roles including Engineering, Big Data, Data Science and Product
  • 1+ years preferred recruiting for a start-up, internet and/or online media/platform company.
  • Strong ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in partnership with others.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Must be able and have the desire to work in a team environment
  • Self-starter with ability to effectively manage multiple searches and projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of sourcing and mining techniques in the recruiting space.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Action oriented, results-driven individual.
  • Able to make sound and timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
