Role: Civil Engineer

Job Purpose

• Development of the contract teams and execution of all civil and structural jobs under their control. Upholding the safety in the jobs.
• Taking the requirement of maintenance from the internal customers through telephone calls, emails, direction from the superiors.

Core Responsibilities

• Verify project plans, engineering designs, drawings, and material quantities for accuracy
• Coordinate with the project team to manage interdisciplinary interfaces
• Formulate Site Technical Queries (STQs) and follow up to secure clarifications
• Monitor project schedules and submit detailed daily progress reports
• Maintain and organize current project documents, specifications, and standards for all active projects
• Track project document revisions and assess their impact on schedule in a timely manner
• Enforce strict quality control and safety measures across all contractor activities
• Perform verification of site measurements
• Perform any other task assigned by department

Experience

• 15 years of experience in petrochemicals/fertilizer plant operations, out of which minimum 5 years as DCS Panel Operator in Polypropylene Plant.
• B.Eng/HND in relevant field
