Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our maritime division.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the maritime industry with a strong background in vessel chartering and contracting. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and viable income streams through research, networking and prospecting.
• Ensure quality participation in Tendering, Opportunities and RFQs in Marine and Oil & Gas Sectors.
• Contribute to Market Share increase in the company's Limited and Clientele
• Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis
• Maintaining current client relationships and identifying potential clients
• Conduct quarterly competitive market research, current market conditions and competitor information. Market and environment continuous monitoring.
• Maintain relationships with key individuals in the Marine industry and have extensive and up to date knowledge of industry trends and key collaborations and partnerships
• Relationship management with appropriate stakeholders in the industry
• Contract negotiation

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related discipline (MBA will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Maritime industry
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office and CRM software
• Self-motivated, result-oriented and ability to take initiatives
• Ability to work independently and under pressure while professionally representing the Company
• Ability to demonstrate experience in full sales cycle, including sales success and deals closing
