Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Transactions:

  • Accurately record financial transactions in the company's accounting software.
  • Monitor and manage loan and interest repayments, ensuring timely payments.
  • Prepare invoices for clients and follow up on outstanding payments.

2. Tax Compliance:

  • Calculate, file, and ensure compliance with various taxes, including company income tax, WHT, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

3. Vendor Management:

  • Review and process vendor invoices and payments following company policies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve payment-related inquiries.

4. Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and analyze company cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend strategies to optimize cash resources.

5. Financial Analysis:

  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a plus.
  • Female is strongly preferred for this role 
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Integrity and commitment to maintaining financial confidentiality.
     

Additional Information

Salary: N400,000.00 – N500,000.00 (benefits included)

Work Mode: Onsite work arrangement
