Job Description

Reporting to: MARKETING MANAGER 

  1.       ROLE
    1. Eyes and ears of the organization.
    2. Communication satellite between organization and market.
       
  2.       RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Plan for sales in accordance with sales targets given.
    2. To achieve the sales targets with minimum possible deviation.
    3. To increase the market penetration and share, in line with targets.
    4. To develop markets in terms of growth of customer base, and to develop customer for new products introduced time by time.
    5. To comply with company policies, values and conduct business abiding with the same.
    6. To provide regular MIS with prescribed reports, and generating specific reports.
    7. To co-ordinate between customers, support staff to provide service to customer.
    8. To maintain communication links between company and customer for harmonious relation. This includes time to time changes in prices, policies or any other communication.
    9. To assist the IMS Coordinator for the department.
    10.  Reporting of on safe act, on safe condition and near misses.
    11. Determination of environmental Aspect / Impacts in relation to Marketing activities.
  3.       FUNCTIONAL AUTHORITIES

To decide the distribution preference and allocation of products within policy framework.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  1. Accountable for all decisions taken while discharging the role/responsibility endeavored on.
  2. Overall accountable for achieving QHSE objectives of department.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  1. Graduation preferably in Engineering or at least in science stream.
  2. Post-Graduation preferred but not mandatory.
  3. Fresh Graduate / Post graduate with preference to 2-3 years in sales & marketing.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

  1. Preliminary knowledge of commercial practices & terms of business.
  2. At least elementary understanding of industrial procurement procedures & processes.
  3. Good commercial communication skill to communicate internally & externally. 

 JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS

  1. Proficient knowledge of English language in writing and speaking.
  2. Should be very good in operational knowledge of MS-Office or other OS
  3. Good working knowledge of ERPs e.g. Oracle/SAP, especially Sales & Marketing modules.
