Our client is a multinational Petrochemical Company 

The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing an organization's IT infrastructure with a focus on advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Microsoft Azure, and DevOps practices. This role involves selecting and implementing the latest application/technology platforms to drive organizational efficiency. They will be involved in the process of making the company's technology competency and will play an integral part in the IT team. A fundamental understanding of network infrastructure would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Stay updated and integrate the latest technologies such as AI, ML, and Cloud Technologies like Microsoft Azure into the existing IT infrastructure.
• • Contribute to the selection of next-generation application/technology platforms.
• • Implement and maintain DevOps practices across the organization.
• • Collaborate with various departments to understand their technology needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT team members.
• • Implement security measures to safeguard the organization's data.
• • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• • Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure.
• • Participate in the development of IT strategic plans.
• • Conduct regular system audits.
• • Assist in building the organization's technology competency.
• • Network understanding is an added advantage

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.

• Expert knowledge in AI, ML, Microsoft Azure, and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with networking concepts is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to keep up with the latest technology trends and apply them to the organization's needs.

• Experience in project management and system architecture design.

• Professional certifications in AI, ML, or DevOps would be advantageous.

Work Experience: 5 – 8 years of working experience of experience managing and configuring IT infrastructure, with specific experience in AI, ML, Cloud Technologies, and DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with network infrastructure would be an added bonus.
