Job Title: Inspection Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection Engineer to join our client's Inspection and Quality Control team. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, possess a strong knowledge of inspection techniques, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, structures, and processes in the petrochemical plant to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Utilize various inspection techniques, including non-destructive testing (NDT), visual inspection, and equipment testing to identify defects, flaws, and areas requiring maintenance.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes to ensure accurate inspections and adherence to design standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel to provide expert advice on inspection findings and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Generate comprehensive inspection reports detailing findings, recommended actions, and compliance status.
  • Continuously monitor and update inspection procedures to meet evolving industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Assist in the development of inspection and testing protocols for newly installed equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in the petrochemical industry.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, specifically in inspection and quality control.
  • Must be between the age of 25 - 35 years old
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, such as API, ASME, and ASTM.
  • Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), such as ASNT Level II, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, instruments, and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
