Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy to increase the company’s product sales performance and profit.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes by conducting research on competition’s demand and supply costs to determine their products’ worth thereby developing reasonable pricing that fits within the customer’s budget and brings a great profit. 
  • Constant visits to customers for the purpose of sales promotion of our chemical and consumables lines.
  • Mapping and generating potential and new leads/opportunities
  • Meeting and surpassing the set targets of customer order N252 million / year and minimum sales of N180 million / year.
  • Communicate sales goals and ensure management is informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers and OEMS while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Organize periodic strategy review with team members to analyze performance, and adjust or generate firmer strategies for top notch sales delivery.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions to stakeholders through presentations and proposals.
  • Generate periodic report to the management highlighting expectations based on forces that may have shifted strategic directions with propositions that will lead to adjustments or improvements to these strategies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales pertaining to Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, etc.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and ability to present concepts in an easily understood form
  • Proven effective judgement and reasoning
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Extremely skilled in the art of negotiation
  • Well organized, plans and assigns resources appropriately
  • Managerial and Forecasting skills
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
