Job Description
The position develops the overall security (both digital and Physical aspects) strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the office and the security of property and assets in line with the company's Compliance and local regulatory laws.
- Creation and implementation of physical and digital security concepts
- Managing and maintaining the electronic security systems and networks (access control system, intrusion detection system, video system)
- Strategic and operational consultant to management on all security issues
- Cooperation with security authorities
- Identification and management of physical and digital security risks for G+D Nigeria.
- Conducting investigations and inquiries.
- Planning and execution of security training.
- Maintain high standards of security at the G+D premises especially all entry and exit points. This also includes maintenance and upgrades of associated equipment to ensure a secure office environment.
- Educate users on cyber-attacks and how to protect the company information. This is not limited to the training of employees but to implementing measures identified by Qualys to ensure a secure physical and logical network infrastructure.
- Security and risk regulations & Laws
- Ensure Compliance to G+D and Regulatory Institution
- Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
- Controlling budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Minimum of BSc in related field
- Experience in the higher service of a security authority is an advantage
- Experience in risk management
- Experience in information security
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good written and spoken English knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Assertive Team Player
