Job Description

Summary 

  • Leading a team of training Coaches that will drive operational capability by enabling continuous learning, conducting capability assessments and providing training interventions and workshops for restaurant teams across a geographic area.
  • To lead training coaches and drive operational capability by enabling continuous learning, capability building and providing training interventions and workshops for restaurant management and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Focused Training Coach Audits In-Store and In-Store Capability Assessments, this includes Identifying and assessing future and current training needs
  • Providing on-the-job coaching, training interventions and workshops such as drawing an overall or individualized training and development plan
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
  • Deploy and/or customize a wide variety of training methods
  • Ensure effective induction and orientation sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Manage training budget
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

Qualifications

  • Min 5 years’ experience in a training and /facilitating role
  • Experience in Learning Zone at any Yum or Yum franchise restaurant groups
  • Previous proven experience in being able to deliver functional training to a group of people
  • Good understanding of the current operational training landscape
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • The ability to inspire confidence and motivate participants
  • The ability to assess gaps and solve problems effectively
  • Determination and patience
  • Good organisation skills
  • A sensitive and supportive approach
