Job Description

Overall Purpose:

To ensures campaigns align with key business strategies as well as increase the reach and impact of Our client’s profile and visibility through the delivery of high value and influential marketing, communications, and PR in Nigeria and internationally, thereby significantly contributing to the development of new partnerships, sales, and other opportunities.

To achieve this, you will work with the Communication and Marketing teams, developing and implementing a marketing and communications strategy across a range of reactive and strategically planned opportunities in print, media, events, and online. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies, plans, and approaches to help market and position Our client to attract Clients and Partners.
  • Plan the marketing and communications strategies for specific areas of Our client’s work and for different audiences. Work with the communication, Marketing, and Senior Management teams to put the strategy into practice.
  • Design and develop creative communication and marketing products – presentations, briefings, etc. that will maximize the Brand’s message, support project objectives, and contribute to the research sector.
  • Plan and implement digital marketing approaches including targeting, personalization of messages and measurability, data analysis, customer profiling, and segmentation.
  • Develop a digital strategy in conjunction with the Senior Management Team.
  • Develop a web strategy covering Our client FSL’s websites. Tender for new website development and develop processes to keep Our client's websites up to date.
  • Ensure the brand meets expectations through monitoring marketing trends.
  • Direct the Digital Marketing team toward the implementation of Marketing Communication Strategies.
  • Direct the creation and implementation of Marketing content and publication.
  • Manage the Marketing & Communications budget and ensure programme milestones related to marketing & communications are achieved on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Brand Communication Manager.
  • Degree qualification (preferably in Information Technology Marketing, Media, Communications, or Journalism).
  • Masters qualification (preferably in Marketing, Media, Communications or Journalism).
  • Experience in developing and managing strong and complex relationships across programmes as part of a centralised function and externally with multiple stakeholders. Experience of working in international development.
  • Experience of measuring the impact of communications products and changing strategies as a result of the findings.
