Job Description

In this role you will be a key member of the Scoping and Planning Team. This team is responsible for managing software development projects and driving forward key initiatives that support the development of next-generation platforms for the delivery of video content. Additionally, you should have a passion for delivering world-class consumer products focused on incredible customer experiences. And have a strong desire to stay current with the latest advancements in the video, and entertainment industry.  

Qualifications

Experience:


• Managed software development projects through the entire SDLC. 

• Skilled at keeping projects on track with respect to the schedule, budget, and resources. 

• Managed project portfolio scheduling and sequencing. 

• Estimated and managed resource capacity vs. project demand across a portfolio.

• Developed forward-looking software release schedules, including negotiation, planning and management of changes.

• Created resource-loaded project plans, established realistic tasks and milestones, and identified key resource requirements for each task. 

• Monitored project progress and activities on a continual basis to ensure overall project meets milestones and quality metrics.

• Proactively (anticipate) managed project scope changes.

• Identified potential project risks, and developed mitigation strategies.

• Set and managed appropriate expectations of key project stakeholders for software schedules, commitments and project scope.

• Developed improvements to operational and strategic processes with respect to delivering a quality software product, in a timely manner.

• Worked in dynamic, fast paced environments. 


Education: 


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related technical field  

• Five to seven years of experience in managing complex full life-cycle software development projects. 

• PMP certification preferred.
