Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional professional to fill the role of IT Financial Analyst for the Information Technology knowledgeable in the area of Accounting and Finance systems. Utilizing knowledge of Lawson systems, this analyst will support and perform maintenance of Lawson systems using business analytics and technology. This professional will provide technical problem solving to Lawson and all interfacing third party systems. The IT professional will also be expected to scope resource hours, understand, support and troubleshoot the technical needs of the Finance Dept. Including but not limited to assisting the EDI, Electronic invoicing, credit card payment,  B/AR, Payroll interfaces. Responsibilities include resolving helpdesk tickets.

Job Responsibilities:

•        Implementation, support and inventory control of applications used and interfaced
•        Develops and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solutions
•        Evaluates system specifications for business requirements
•        Develops and prepares computer solutions
•        Works closely with finance and IT management to prioritize business goals and information needs
•        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•        Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
•        Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
•        Requires excellent computer skills

Requirements:

•        Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience or certifications. Finance knowledge a must
•        3 or more years of related experience including Lawson system design, documentation, and database table knowledge, third party systems interfacing with Lawson and troubleshooting.
•        Healthcare experience strongly preferred but not required.
•        Lawson Systems, HRMS, Lawson MS AddIns and PNC are preferred but not required.
