Building Surveyor

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a small regional consultancy with offices in Hampshire and Dorset. As a mixed discipline practice they currently service a range of local as well as national clients undertaking both project and professional work. The successful Building Surveyor will join their building consultancy team made up of Building Surveyors and Project managers. Their current client mix includes education, residential, defence as well as motor dealerships.

Role & Responsibilities of Building Surveyor

  • Writing feasibility reports
  • Preparing tender documents
  • Project managing works on site in the capacity of Contract Administrator, Employers Agent or Project Manager
  • Professional work including dilapidations 
  • Projects range in value from £50k up to £15m

Skills & Experience of Building Surveyor

  • Professional qualification – MRICS/MCIOB
  • 3-5 years plus surveying experience
  • Project & professional experience is advantageous but not essential
