What does this role entail?

From designing a distributed system, improving the architecture for scale, optimizing the performance, provisioning the servers, monitoring the metrics, and troubleshooting the bugs, which means own the entire infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product delivery teams to identify architectural issues and ensure timely and smooth delivery of features into operations. 

• Build and maintain models for growth and capacity planning  Administration of production infrastructure.

• Building automation to simplify system management,tech operations etc.

• Own the day-to-day health, uptime, monitoring, and reliability of services and server infrastructure Deployment, support and monitoring of new platforms and application stacks.

• Participate in new technology evaluation, design and development of highly scalable distributed systems and pipelines

You’ll fit in, if

You want to work on:

• Designing and deploying large scale systems, distributed infrastructure systems

• Maintaining and improving service-oriented architecture and web services

• Adapt monitoring for an increasingly dynamic environment of servers and services.

You have experience in:

• 1+ years of experience in the related domains.

• Experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Shell and one of  Perl Python or Ruby.

• Strong knowledge of core protocols and tech such as: TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, load balancers, database clusters Hands on Experience with Ansible.

• Experience with management of high availability clusters of services in ELK,Redis, mysql cluster etc.

• Capable of technical deep-dives into code, networking, systems.

• Logging and Monitoring experience designing, deploying and running systems like Splunk, ELK, New Relic or other APM solutions

Bonus points if you have experience in:

Worked on any of these tools Selenium, GGR, Proxies, AWS, GCE, Jenkins, RabbitMq, Resque

Team handling and project management.
