Job Summary
The Collections Specialist is responsible for working with customers to renew their annual software support and other subscription contracts, as well as collect on other outstanding commitments.  The position will provide an opportunity to join a successful, rapidly-growing software company that recently partnered with one of the world’s leading private equity firms – Genstar Capital.

Responsibilities


•    Work with clients to ensure payment of outstanding obligations 
•    Validate, edit and deliver renewal quotes and invoices
•    Work with clients in obtaining purchase orders or other renewal documentation
•    Provide outstanding internal and external customer service
•    Utilize Salesforce.com to record all renewal activities  
•    Uncover accounts which may be at risk for cancelation and develop plans to mitigate such risk
•    Assist with the identification, qualification and development of viable new opportunities to sell additional software and services
•    Serve as a liaison between the Sales Team and Finance Team to manage and streamline renewal opportunities

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    One to two years of relevant experience preferred; exceptional candidates with no prior experience will be considered as well
•    Outstanding organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
•    Strong multi-tasking ability
•    Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments across the organization
•    Ability to clearly articulate complex thoughts and concepts to clients 
•    Excellent client and internal communication skills including clear and concise writing skills
•    Adept at managing spreadsheets and manipulating information
