Job Summary

The Manager of Product Marketing is responsible for delivering on our company and product positioning, brand voice, and the identification of our competitive differentiations, with the ultimate goals of enabling the sales team to efficiently close opportunities and the customer success team to maintain strong customer relationships, while managing to the overall budget.  This includes sales and marketing enablement, such as training and educating sales on go-to-market positioning, messaging, differentiation, etc.  We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding and highly engaged work environment, enabling our people to be the best they can be and grow their skills and careers. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Develop product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market programs that differentiates Prometheus Group by understanding customer personas, product roadmap, market trends, verticals, and the competitive landscape

·       Craft channel-specific messaging that fits the intended audience (e.g., website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails)

·       Own the go-to-market launch planning and execution to ensure successful, integrated releases of new products or features

·       Support customer communications including release messaging and new customer onboarding

·       Work with product, customer success, and sales to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitor intel) to influence the product development roadmap planning, product positioning, and pricing strategy

·       Use performance data to identify and resolve issues within product positioning and marketing strategies

·       Perform market and competitive analysis – including win/loss analysis

·       Collaborate with sales to understand ongoing enablement needs; create and execute an enablement program across training, competitive counter-tactics, and product education

·       Manage a team of 5 product and content marketing managers

·        Experience creating a mix of content such as presentations, blogs, podcasts, video, social and content marketing

·        Experience creating and executing a marketing programs plan, including email marketing

·        Demonstrated ability in communicating and understanding more complex technical issues

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Ability to lead customer calls and webinars

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 3+ years in B2B marketing
