ROLE:
The community manager is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities to create impactful work as the voice and personality of the OMEN social channels. The community manager needs to have proven work experience as a content creator, community manager, copywriter or similar role. You will set and implement organic social media and communication to align with US OMEN Marketing strategies for proud gaming audience.
As a community manager, you’ll identify opportunities on interfacing, creating content and copywriting, managing the OMEN social channels and interacting with the community to create a healthy, inclusive environment. It’s a position that blends a creative approach with the operational side of managing social media and digital channels.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing, social media management, gaming, the gaming industry, and/or digital advertising. And most importantly, you must love writing and conveying your objective in a clear and concise manner within the limits of the social channel you’re on. Ultimately, this role will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online content to promote both, company and products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement social communications aligned to OMEN brand and marketing strategies
• Work on content calendars and make them come true, including the timely publishing of social media posts
• Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
• Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
• Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews across various social media platforms including competitive analysis
• Organize and participate in gaming, pop-culture, lifestyle and/or fandom events to build community and boost brand awareness
• Coordinate with team to ensure brand consistency and optimization of social creative/content
• Work closely with Marketing leads to provide monthly and quarterly reports and optimization opportunities
• Work collaboratively to ensure social media channels are on brand at all times
• Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
• Analyze the conversation around the OMEN brand daily
Twitch channel ownership
• Organize and optimize channel video collections and editing of highlight clips following any and all livestream events
• Refresh About section and any channel creative based on new product announcements, events, and own the update of “Coming Soon” graphics on the channel
• Management of chat engagement during all livestream events acting as the voice of the brand
• Manage the channel auto host list and ensure OMEN Squad members are added to the channel team as new members are added or deleted
• Coordination of all chatbots and chat commands aligned to OMEN marketing priorities and initiatives for all livestreams
