Job Description

As an IT systems engineer senior/lead working in our IT Creative Business Operations department, you’ll be responsible for servicing and supporting assigned technical infrastructure. In this role, you’ll lead others in evaluating, implementing, and supporting complex Windows and Linux-based application servers, along with large-scale printing and inserting production lines. In addition, you’ll be accountable for the creation of technical and procedural instructions within a technical domain, and critical incident management strategies and processes. Moreover, you’ll also partner with our Project Management Office and other areas within IT to define project tasks, estimate and coordinate work efforts between multiple groups, resolve or escalate issues, provide status updates on assigned deliverables, and test and implement solutions. As a lead, you’ll act as a role model to technical resources, lead a team of technical resources and act as a point of contact for infrastructure or technology-specific questions. This position will require you to report into our 603 Alpha Dr, Highland Heights, 44143 office location.

Qualifications

Must-have qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math, or other related field of study and a minimum of four years of experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems

  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems may be accepted

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Linux and Windows server systems.
  • Exposure to Mainframe Processes
  • Critical, high pressure/stress incident management experience.
  • Project Management facilitation and organization skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in line with light manufacturing or operational printing environments. (Nice to have)

Compensation 

  • $87,390-$129,250/year depending on the position level and experience
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
