Job Description

Responsible for developing new business in new vertical industries as well as developed verticals.  This may include expanding business within existing clients in the area of eCommerce fulfilment, technology multi-channel fulfilment or other off-peak business segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the success of Supply Chain Solutions sales efforts as well as the tactical execution of the Sales plan with specifically identifiable goals.
  • Responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of programs to support new and current business requirements.
  • Develop a short and long-term strategy that will result in overall sales growth and profitability for new vertical industries and developed vertical markets
  • Drives and influences the development of business/program processes and execution of plans to meet the financial goals through a highly matrixes organization including Program Management, Project Management, Finance, Operations, IS, and the VP & GM 
  • Hands on approach to designing and executing the analysis process for potential sales opportunities. Ensure the validity of each sales opportunity to determine IML’s time investment based on potential for successful closure with appropriate profit margins.
  • Coordinates activities to ensure on-going client retention
  • Documents and reports all activities through SalesForce.com tool
  • Responsible for building and executing plan to expand current partner program within assigned vertical.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree and possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive sales experience is required especially in the area of 3rd party logistics and/or solution sales.
  • Must have well established network relationships in ecommerce, technology, or other off-peak verticals. 
  • Knowledge of technology channel is preferred.
  • Must possess an understanding of and have experience working with outsourced, manufacturing and reseller supply chains that require tight coordination, are highly visible and invoke high levels of pain when not executed accurately. 
  • Demonstrated experience in creating new business opportunities using a proven selling process.
  • Understanding of complex supply chain optimization solutions and the ability to clearly articulate value propositions to the client
  • Demonstrated experience in a complex, consultative selling environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering revenue growth plans.
  • The ability to develop and maintain business relationships to assist in the achievement of business development goals is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience managing several concurrent, large sale/proposal opportunities is required.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills required.
  • A skilled communicator able to navigate through the potential impacts of the environment is essential.
  • Must be skilled at customer relationship management and consensus building.
  • Professional and credible presentation skills are a must.
