ourPartner Business Manager – Asia Pacific

Our Client is looking for a highly talented individual to lead partner sales and business development across the Asia Pacific region with leading systems integrators, service providers, outsourcers, resellers, and distributors.  This individual will be a member of our client’s Sales team in APAC. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and extend relationships with existing and targeted partners
  • Quota-carrying responsibility for revenue of reseller channel in specific region
  • Build mindshare and develop pipeline with partner sales and technical teams
  • Establish our Client’s technology in RFPs and tender processes via partners, build pipeline of large regional deals
  • Build our Client’s capabilities into market for cloud and managed services offerings, extending our Client’s as-a-service offering
  • Develop and support the go-to-market strategy for each target country
  • Support regional sales managers and partners in progressing opportunities through sales cycle
  • Manage regional pipeline and forecasting for each partner
  • Manage an efficient operational model with partners
  • Plan and execute marketing, training, and business development activities with partners
  • Drive all other partner programs and alliance activities in region

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience managing relationships with systems OEMs, regional partners, outsourcers and service providers
  • Experience adapting go-to-market model and partner strategy in various Asian cultures
  • Proven ability to develop partner relationships across business units, engineering, sales and services
  • Proven ability to support large deals, and work as a member of bid teams
  • Experience and relationships with service providers, cloud, and/or managed services
  • Experience developing and closing new partner agreements
  • Experience with enterprise class sales cycles, solution selling, and services-led selling
  • Experience with services business models including customer support, professional services, and managed services
  • Minimum of 10 years in sales, business development, partner or alliance management with a focus on enterprise accounts
  • Minimum 5 years experience technology industry in Asia-Pacific
  • Preferred technical knowledge/experience in the areas of storage, servers, networking and virtualization
  • English fluency required; secondary Asian languages a plus
  • Preferred location is Singapore or Hong Kong but will consider candidates elsewhere in Asia-Pacific.
  • Ability to travel as needed across Asia-Pacific
