Job Description
As a Solutions Consultant (SC), you’ll be responsible for building and sustaining customer relationships while driving the adoption of our client's solutions. You'll work very closely with the Regional Sales Manager located in your Region and act as the technical resource when working with new and existing customers.
The SC is a high impact, visible role responsible for ensuring the adoption of our client's solutions and helping to close enterprise accounts within your Region.
Responsibilities:
- Present our client's vision, strategy and product road maps, as well as our value proposition to Executives, Technical Management/Staff and Partners
- Understand the customers' high-level business challenges
- Match our client's solutions to customer's business and technical requirements
- Build long-term business relationships and become a trusted adviser within each account
- Sell professional services as part of a total solution
- Define and implement a solution oriented go-to-market strategy for each account to ensure technical adoption of our client's solutions
- Build and leverage strong OEM and Partner relationships
- Drive the adoption of our client's solutions within existing and new enterprise accounts
- Mentor other Solution Consultants
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Eight or more years experience in technology related work, including roles in Pre-sales and/or customer-facing Consultant role
- Proven ability to collaborate with and motivate multiple groups toward accomplishing a task
- Enthusiastic, self-starter
- Proven track record of selling services as part of a solution
- Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions to make it better
- Strong customer facing, presentation and relationship building skills
- Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
- Strong listening and question based selling skills
- Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges
- Experience with enterprise applications, security, systems management, and business continuity solutions a plus
- Ability to travel as necessary
- BA/BS or equivalent required
