Job Description
Overview:
The Sales Manager has the responsibility to manage and grow sales in their assigned territory. This role focuses on both partner recruitment/management as well as direct business from target accounts/verticals to generate business for our Client The Sales Manager carries a personal quota, comprised of licence and 1st year support, and has a separate quota for professional services.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate the benefits of the company to potential clients while developing the visibility of (the "ECM Product") within the region.
- Generate, qualify, and close new sales opportunities which may require preparing and performing demonstrations at customer sites.
- Develop and manage relationships with companies that will be able to successfully partner with (the "ECM Product") such as systems integrators, distributors/resellers, software vendors and professional services companies.
- Coordinate partner training and education on (the "ECM Product") and service offering. Build on the ability to jointly “go to market” with business partners in order to create sustainable and profitable business.
- Communicate (the "ECM Product") benefits to its partners while developing the visibility of the company within the region.
- Maintain an accurate and precise sales forecast in Salesforce.com. Achieve sales targets detailed in compensation plan.
- Travel to customer, partner and (the "Company) sites as required.
- Estimated travel requirements: 40%."
Additional Information
- Experience in a similar position with a proven track record of over-achievement selling high value software into finance or other customer orientated businesses.
- Aggressive and overachieving sales personality driven by a challenge.
- Passionate about being successful in the job.
- Excellent client facing skills with outstanding written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin a plus.
- Ability to self start and self motivate; demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach in achieving targets.
- Develop and manage close working relationships with senior commercial and technical players at key customers.
- Ability to deliver technical advantages as well as sales benefits.
- Proven record of achievement at or above quota.
- Use of sales qualification and account development disciplines.
