ProctorExam is a fast-growing tech startup based in Amsterdam, and we are changing the world of assessment by developing software that provides a privacy-friendly yet secure environment to take exams remotely. The ProctorExam technology combines screen sharing, use of the webcam, and the camera on a mobile device to create a 360-degree secure environment and is integrated with other technologies to handle the full assessment process. You will join our recently created Product Management team and you’ll help shape and develop a more mature team. You'll be surrounded by talented professionals. Product Ownership & Delivery: Understand and help drive the overall product roadmap and ensure your product fits the strategy. Specify the product requirements as well as user stories and be accountable for product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates.
Stakeholder Management: Represent the business for the product, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog.
Team spirit: Work collaboratively with team members across all departments including Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success.
Backlog Management: Prioritize the items in your product backlog. Partner with customers to learn about problems and opportunities to drive prioritization of new features and enhancements. Specify the definition-of-done in cooperation with your team. Own the refinement of your product backlog to ensure that the team is delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value. Provide acceptance for delivered backlog items by the team, in line with the definition-of-done.
Monitoring: Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product. Use data sources and feedback loops to ensure the team focuses on the right enhancements.
Enablement: Enable the development team to work autonomously against requirements and outcomes and enable customers to easily understand and adopt new functionality.
Minimum of 3+ years of Product Management SaaS experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams of engineers and designers to deliver extraordinary products
Experience managing external parties and outsourced technical projects
Experience with APIs and underlying technical knowledge
Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and stakeholders
Attention to detail and good writing skills, in order to deliver comprehensive, easy to understand and implement product requirements
Entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for learning
Eligible to work and live in the EU, willing to work in Amsterdam. We don't sponsor a work permit for non-EU citizens
