Procore is seeking a Director of PMO to build and scale a world-class Project Management Office within our Professional Services organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving execution excellence across all professional services engagements.

As the Director of PMO, you’ll be a critical cross-functional partner to our Consulting, Product, Sales, and Operations teams, building and implementing standardized consulting methodologies and verticalized frameworks that ensure consistent, repeatable, and high-quality outcomes at scale while aligning our project delivery capabilities with customer needs, industry best practices, and our ambitious growth objectives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams and implementing scalable PMO structures in a fast-paced, global environment.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Professional Services Solutions and Operations and can work remotely. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Pioneer the creation and implementation of the Project Management Office, defining and executing its vision, strategy, and operating model to serve as a foundational enabler of scalable delivery excellence across the organization.

  • Establish a robust governance framework, including standardized reporting, key performance metrics, and clear escalation paths, to ensure predictable and successful project outcomes.

  • Drive a culture of excellence, simplicity, and customer-first execution, championing a mindset of accountability and proactive problem-solving across all professional services teams.

  • Design, implement, and continuously refine scalable consulting delivery methodologies that are both consistent and adaptable to diverse customer needs, ensuring repeatable and high-quality project outcomes.

  • Standardize best practices in project initiation, resource and project planning, scope control, execution, risk management, and customer adoption to ensure a unified approach to project delivery.

  • Establish and manage an effective Monthly Project Review cadence to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all projects are on track to meet their strategic goals.

  • Introduce and champion a best-in-class technology stack for project management, including tools, templates, and accelerators that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of delivery.

  • Enable and inspire a high-performing team of program and project managers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes ownership and continuous professional growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing PMO or consulting delivery.

  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and/or significantly maturing a PMO within a professional services or consulting organization, including a proven track record of creating and implementing standardized methodologies and governance models that drive efficiency and quality at scale.

  • Strong understanding of project portfolio management, governance, and performance measurement. A track record of improving foundational methodologies that lead to key business metrics such as project profitability, on-time delivery, billable utilization, and customer satisfaction.

  • Extensive experience leading and managing a professional services or consulting team within a SaaS or technology-focused environment.  Direct experience in the AEC/O industry preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence, with a proven ability to influence and build consensus among diverse, cross-functional, and global teams.
