Senior Data Quality Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Data Quality Manager to join Procore’s Revenue Data and Insights team. In this role, you'll lead a team of Data Stewards who are accountable for maintaining and executing on the Data Management and Governance strategy for Procore's Revenue organization. Additionally, this position will work closely with Procore's Enterprise Data Governance program and IT teams to drive consistency of data management capabilities, ensure data alignment across the company, support the resolution of data issues, and support adherence to policies, quality monitoring, and reporting functions.
To be an ideal candidate for this position, you must love to solve complex problems, have a passion for data in support of maximizing company value, and are comfortable working with leaders and stakeholders of all levels. In this role, you will be highly collaborative, working cross-functionally within the Revenue Operations team and across Sales, Marketing, Customer, IT, Finance, Corporate Strategy, etc., to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and scale.
This position will report to our Senior Director of Revenue Insights and has the opportunity to work remotely from any North American location or be based in one of our U.S. offices.
What you’ll do:
Directly manage a team of data stewards responsible for managing the overall data quality for the Revenue Organization. The top-line objective for this role and the team they will manage is to ensure quality, compliance, clarity, and understanding of data used by members across Revenue functions.
Manage, train, and develop Data Stewards to effectively support the improvement of data quality across all Revenue functions
Evolve the vision of Procore's Data Strategy and ensure buy-in from key leaders in the organization
Prepare and present progress of Data Steward tactics and the status of Data Strategy workstreams owned by the Revenue organization
Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to support the implementation of Procore's Data Strategy roadmap
Develop and maintain an operating model and communication cadence with the Enterprise Data Governance program leads and stakeholders
Work closely with data stakeholders to stay updated on new and evolving business requirements and market trends to align our data capabilities and content with business needs
Partner with the Revenue Organization to develop and promote data quality tools, controls, and overall quality awareness; define overall Data Quality KPIs, measurements, and reporting standards
Advocate for increasing the scope of data-centric practices and help support the improvement of data literacy across Procore's Revenue organization
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of Data Quality and/or Data Governance experience. Certifications in data quality management and governance are preferred.
2+ years of team management and leadership, preferably in the space of data quality management
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience integrating data quality solutions (e.g. KPIs for quality monitoring)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and recommend solutions
Experience working with SQL queries and non-structured data
Strong understanding of data workflows and ability to recognize data quality gaps
Experience with Data Quality, Master Data (MDM), and Data Governance Platforms
