Procept Associates Professional Services Limited (Procept Africa) is a franchisee of Procept Associates Ltd, Canada.  We specialize in consulting, training and software solutions, through a network of associates and partners, using best practice frameworks in Canada, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Ghana, Rwanda, Kenya and now Uganda.

Due to our expansion across Africa there is a need to recruit several Team Leads, Consulting Services, to support our consulting operations across Africa. The ideal candidate must have about 5 years technology consulting experience from any of the reputable consulting firms.  He/She must be able to get things done in accordance with stringent deadlines and must be a go-getter.

Location:                        Lagos; may also be required to work in other parts of Nigeria and Africa

Job Description

As Team Lead, Consulting, you are responsible for the delivery of consulting assignments and will be required to lead three to five assignments at a time.

 

Specifically, you will lead the consulting endeavours for the clients and industries assigned to you:

  1. Sourcing of consulting business
  2. Proposal development and defence of consulting services
  3. Executing consulting assignments.
  4. Account Management:
  • Managing the key accounts in your portfolio
  • Achieving overall health of the company’s key accounts - timeliness, quality, customer feedback.
  • Managing customers at senior leadership levels and their expectations. Growing such customer relationships in value, customer satisfaction, revenue mix.
  • Exploring and capitalizing on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to existing clients.
  1. Constantly innovating and creating new solutions/accelerators/POVs which maps to the marketplace requirements.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Three to five years in-depth experience delivering consulting assignments in a reputable consulting firm (mainly IT)
  • Three to Five years in-depth experience selling consulting (mainly IT)
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Commercially aware and strong understanding of business environments
  • Strong Microsoft office suites – (Advance Power Point, Excel and Word).

 

Education, Qualification and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in numerate sciences including computer sciences and/or engineering, information technology, business administration, accounting, economics, etc.
  • To be successful in this role, you require three or more of the following designations:
    • ISO Certifications: 20000-1; 22301; 27001; 45001, etc
    • ITIL4 designations; foundation, managing professional, strategic leader and practice manager.
    • PMP and/or PRINCE2 Practitioner
    • IIBA CBAP or CCBA
    • Business Continuity Management Practitioner or equivalents
    • Organizational Change Management certification
    • TOGAF 9 Certified
    • COBIT Foundation, COBIT Assessor and/or COBIT Implementer
  • Master’s degree in any business-related field is an advantage.
