We are currently recruiting to fill the role of Head, Global Presales/Delivery whose diverse and critical responsibilities encompass overseeing the presales and delivery functions of the company across all African markets. This position requires a forward-thinking professional with a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership abilities to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  1. Develop and implement an effective global presales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion, including market research, competitor analysis, and solution design.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of presales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Act MD surrogate in events/meetings where he is unavoidably absent.
  3. Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs, participate in client meetings, and assist in crafting tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
  4. Oversee the global delivery operations, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Drive efficient resource allocation and project management.
  5. Foster multi-functional collaboration between presales and delivery teams, ensuring seamless transition from pre-sales to project delivery.
  6. Sales Support:
    • Support the sales of the company services to existing and new clients – from lead generation to closing.
  7. Manage key client’s account.
  8. Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, tools, and standards to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
  9. Define and track key performance metrics to assess the success of presales and delivery initiatives and continuously optimize processes.
  10. Evaluate and implement relevant technologies and tools to enhance presales and delivery capabilities.
  11. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to shape product development and go-to-market strategies.
  12. Develop and manage the presales and delivery budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  13. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to address their needs and concerns.

Qualifications

Education, Qualification and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in numerate sciences including computer sciences, business administration, accounting, economics, etc
  • Master’s degree in any business-related field is an advantage
  • Demonstrable experience in five or more of the following domains/practices:
  • Business Advisory
  • Service Management
  • Business Continuity
  • Information Security
  • Project Management
  • Business Analysis
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • ISO Standards and other best practice frameworks
  • Ability to conduct training in three of these domains is also mandatory.

 

Skills, Experience and Attributes

You need 5 to 10 years experience (either as a leader or team member) and also require:
