We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and deliver IT projects for our client in the telecommunications Industry. As a Project Manager (IT), you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will involve collaborating with multi-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve project objectives and drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
Job Description
You are responsible for the following:
- Develop detailed IT project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.
- Lead the project team in executing IT project tasks according to the established plan; monitoring progress, resolving issues, and managing changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget; Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
- Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards; implementing quality control measures and conducting regular reviews to verify project compliance.
- Inspire and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the project management lifecycle. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Qualifications
- First degree in Computer Science or IT related fields.
- Master's degree is desired.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager in the IT industry, successfully delivering complex IT projects.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on building cohesive and productive teams.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and other relevant technology domains.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with attention to detail.
- ITIL4 Foundation mandatory
- Related ITIL V3 Project Management Certification is desired.
- Project management certifications is mandatory (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
