We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for the Seychelles market. Based in our Port Louis, Mauritius office, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and drive marketing initiatives for one of the world's most beautiful island destinations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Seychelles as a premier tourist destination
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Seychelles tourism market
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for optimization
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies, implementing innovative approaches to drive growth
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
- Manage relationships with key media partners and agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM systems
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the Seychelles market and culture, as well as the broader Indian Ocean region
- Ability to travel frequently to Seychelles and other locations as required
- Professional marketing certifications (e.g., CIM, AMA) are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or Creole is an advantage
